Community showings of the film God+Country with discussion

More than 250 people have attended showings of the movie God and Country, described below, in the Greater Lafayette area. Successful showings have been held at First United Methodist Church, Christ United Methodist Church, TAF (Wells Center), and St. Andrew United Methodist Church.

Movie Description: From producer Rob Reiner, GOD & COUNTRY looks at the implications of Christian Nationalism and how it distorts not only our constitutional republic, but Christianity itself. Featuring prominent Christian thought leaders, GOD & COUNTRY asks this question: What happens when our Christian faith, built on love, sacrifice, and forgiveness, grows political tentacles and conflates power, money, and belief into hyper-nationalism?
